Founded by Steve Morris, an entrepreneur with a profound love for music and stereo systems, Streamline HiFi consoles are visionary-inspired and create an elevated listening experience. Steve’s journey began in college, where he studied business and music production, cultivating a deep appreciation for the artistry of sound. Steve spent over a decade as a contractor in custom home building, developing an expertise in the art and craft of transforming a living space into a home. His career experiences have been foundational in the formation of Streamline HiFi and its unique line.

It was Steve’s love for music and passion for woodworking craftsmanship that first led him to collect and restore old stereo consoles, breathing new life into vintage treasures. At a pivotal moment, after crafting an original guitar cabinet with a distinct mid-century modern aesthetic appeal, an idea sparked in Steve that led to the birth of Streamline HiFi.

A commitment to merge styles of the past and present has been Streamline HiFi’s vision from the outset. Our purpose is to provide artistic expressions that render a timeless sense of joy of music in the modern home, day after day. All of our stereo consoles are handcrafted in the beautiful town of Truckee, California, where Steve lives with his wife and two daughters. Streamline HiFi embodies a spirit of pristine craftsmanship and vision. Introducing Crossroads, our sleek and more compact stereo console design crafted as a compelling symmetric centerpiece that embodies a perfect balance of form and function. This addition to the Streamline HiFi stereo console collection is smaller in dimension, yet is a powerful sound system crafted to evoke a sense of wonder and cause a listener to step back and absorb the surroundings. The ambient sound that emits from this compact unit permeates a large living room, emanating a beautiful sound, hard to determine its source.

RAMBLER

Enter the Rambler, a captivating addition to the Streamline HiFi stereo console series that pays homage to the iconic space race era. This moderate sized console was inspired by the bold design elements of that transformative period, when cars flaunted prominent fins and a new style of architecture reshaped the very foundations of construction. The Rambler console mirrors the spirit of a time when complex angles pushed the boundaries of what was accepted as ‘normal.’ Just as the United States of America strived to be first on the moon, the mid-sized Rambler stereo console strives to preserve the essence and spirit of that pioneering era.

MOJO

Our largest stereo console unit, Mojo, is a masterpiece within the Streamline HiFi lineup. Meticulously handcrafted, the Mojo console system boasts a striking design that accentuates the exquisite grain of sustainable California-grown English walnut or sustainable East Coast white oak. It is our largest dimension console and thus takes a more commanding position in a living room.
